PARTIAL REPAIR OF BASILICA DEL SALVADOR OF SANTIAGO

2013 - 2014

 

Consultancy for the DA-MOP of the Survey and Diagnosis studies, Provisional Stabilization Project and Protection of the building, its occupants and the works of art that it shelters, especially its paintings and stained glass windows. This work has to serve as scaffolding for the studies and definitive restoration works of the Basilica, built in the last decades of the s. XIX by Teodoro Burchard, remodeled by Josué Smith Solar in 1932, and heavily damaged by the earthquakes of 1985 and 2010. Declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977.
