IN SITU CONSERVATION PROJECT ARCHAEOLOGICAL FIND

CESFAM ERASMO ESCALA

(2015-2016)

In the framework of the execution of the excavation works of the containment system of the preliminary walls for the subsequent construction of CESFAM Erasmo Escala, a masonry barrel vault was found. After this event, a conservation proposal was drawn up, the objective of which was to fully preserve the structure, delimiting an opening and access area; and another of exhibition and subsequent enhancement of the aqueduct.
